When Wheel Thrower meets the Handbuilder

Course Description

This course is specially designed for participants who have wheel throwing experience and are looking to expand their repertoire of pottery skills. In this course participants will experience the plasticity of various clay by creating using pinching, coiling and slab techniques. They will explore the possibilities of incorporating both wheel and hand building techniques and textures on their works. The 5th session will be a glazing class. Skills Prerequisite: Participants should be able to wedge clay and have some wheel throwing experience. Please contact to indicate interest and enquire alternative schedule.
